About Access Hub
Learn how Veracity Access Hub manages users, groups, and application access in your company account and how administrators control permissions.
Veracity Access Hub (VAH) lets organizations manage access to applications in the Veracity ecosystem.
Administrators use Veracity Access Hub to:
- add users to a company account
- grant users access to applications
- manage user groups
- assign administrator roles
- configure company account settings
Access control models
Applications integrated with Veracity Access Hub can use different access control models.
Fully managed by Veracity
All user access and permissions are managed in Veracity Access Hub.
Administrators assign users or groups to the application. Depending on the application, administrators may also configure access levels.
Hybrid access control
Basic access is managed in Veracity Access Hub, while detailed permissions are configured inside the application.
Complex access models
Some applications manage access internally. Veracity Access Hub still provides visibility into:
- which users have access
- application subscriptions
- general information about the application
Some applications using hybrid or complex access models may not support user groups.
Using user groups
User groups help administrators manage application access for multiple users at the same time.
Instead of granting access to each user individually, you can grant access to a group that represents a department, team, or role.
User groups are disabled by default.
To enable user groups:
- Go to Settings.
- Open User groups.
- Enable Current settings.
Access your company account
To use Veracity Access Hub, you must have access to a company account.
- Go to https://accesshub.veracity.com.
- Sign in with your Veracity account.
If your organization already has a company account and you have access, it appears on the Home page.
If you can't find your company account
If you do not see your company account after signing in:
- Ask internally who purchased the Veracity service. The purchaser usually becomes the Tenant Admin.
- Ask the Tenant Admin to add you to the company account.
If you cannot identify the Tenant Admin, contact Veracity support:
